Ok, it won’t be a brand new Porsche, it will be just a facelift of the current 911 model, it’s not ready yet and there won’t be big modifications, as well…

Anyway I don’t really see the difference between this „brand new model“(which is on the pictures) and the current model – 991, or the older 997 type. I mean, when I see one on the street, I literally can’t tell you which type is it. The good thing is, that I’m not the only one with this „Porsche 911 recognization problem“, because many other people/many other car fans, have this kind of a problem. Only the real Porsche fans are able to see the difference clearly.

Porsche 911 is a great car without a doubt, but I think it really needs some kind of a bigger „design innovation“. Not a very big one, but an adequate enough would be appreciated. On the other side, it’s very good that the brand respects it’s own history and it’s own design.

Let’s go back to this „new“ Porsche. As I said, it’s not ready yet, but some changes had already been made. I can’t really see them, except the new steering wheel, which is very similar to the one in the 918 model.

The bigger changes will be in the mechanics of the car. They want lower CO2 emissions, lower fuel consumption, so they want to put turbochargers in the basic 911 model too! I don’t think that this is a good idea…

Finally, as you can see on the pictures, they have tested these cars in South Africa, so you can use the car even there with no worries, which is not bad actually…

Porsche 911 can be a very practical car too!
